Boeing Bounce

The markets turned down on aggressive selling since the open today, but Boeing (Ticker: BA) helped the rebound as the stock rallied on the news. Boeing announced a measure to enhance training and software fix to the MCAS system. It really was a simple fix and this measure should prevent other issues from coming up. The question though has to be “Why were engineers not able to see this coming?”. This is a major issue due to the amount of 737 Max planes sold worldwide. Now you shouldn’t feel as if planes are not safe. Quite the contrary, if you think about it. How often do planes just fall out of the sky? How often have you been on a plane where the fear of god hits you because of a huge drop? I get that feeling almost daily driving in Chicago (lol). I have never experienced that fear while flying.
