With one week to go to Halloween, the market got a jump on spooking everyone. Yesterday’s wild ride saw the Dow down 550 on the lows, working aggressively back to near steady on the day, only to close down 125 points. This market drop is uncomfortable but should be no surprise. Key indicators were pointing out that real weakness was present beneath the surface. The tsunami warning is glaring. Now is the time to seek more protective ground. Join me from my desk as I cover why that’s the case.
