If Volatility Is Your Thing, We Have A Market For You!

The equities markets were quite volatile today, with large plunges in the S&P and Dow Jones indexes both before and after today’s open. The Dow was down almost -800 points at one point during today, before retracing nearly 50% of those losses by the middle of the session. There were multiple factors alleged to be behind the movements, including the potential for derailment in trade talks with China due to the apparent arrest of a major Chinese executive while they were traveling abroad. Meanwhile, we were able to get into a buy signal for BioScrip, Inc. (BIOS), which is a company specializing in home health care. Here is an overview of today’s action.
