Last Friday’s extreme volatility continued into Monday’s trade. The indices were up before the open and then dropped hard, making new lows that breached important levels, like 2600.00 in the S&P 500 and 24,000 in the Dow. From there, the volatility switched and gained back all of the losses to close with gains.
Without new bearish news, this could lead to a multi-day rally.
