I am sure you have heard about the merger by now. T-Mobile (Ticker: TMUS) and Sprint (Ticker: S) are going to merge to become one. However, there has been opposition from day one. From the DoJ and Attorneys General. Even with all of the recent news and class action lawsuits, it looks like the DoJ is willing to approve the merger. Now there are a few things at hand. Most notably selling off certain assets. Boost Mobile is the biggest asset to sell. Now, normally that could be a major hurdle trying to sell a telecom company, but no problems with this. There is a lot of demand for Boost. Amazon, Dish Network and potential Comcast/Charter. Once the assets are sold, we should see the DoJ move quickly to approve this merger and we should see both stocks lift on the news. Scott Bauer and I spoke about a TMUS entry in our webinar. Right now, we are both looking pretty smart.
