The Divide Continues

So here we are, fresh off election night. Going in we had a divided country and now we have a divided Congress. I read a great article in the USA Today where the author suggested President Trump could have the last laugh. He suggested that this is very similar to when President Obama was being elected and conspiracy theorist had suggested he be tossed for the birthplace issues. Now we see the left angrily looking to have President Trump escorted out of the White House in handcuffs. The theme is we have division and that leaves little harmony to get things done. I wish we’d see either side do something to tackle the near $22 Trillion in debt. Either way, markets have shrugged off the divide and surged higher on the open.
