Back from Colorado and fresh off the redeye, I anxiously await the FED announcement. Fed Fund futures has an almost 100% probability of a hike today and a 70% chance in December. This will surely have chatter focus back on the yield curve and the future possibility of a recession. While that may be true, I’m going to suggest that you look beneath the surface as a more effective gauge. This, along with monitoring macroeconomic changes can help with the portfolio risk dynamic.
