Acadia Healthcare Company (ACHC) was very active in trading towards the middle to end of today’s session. The stock dropped sharply beginning around 1 pm EST after a report from Credit Suisse voiced the opinion that the proposed merger between UHS and ACHC may have antitrust issues. While this is not officially confirmed and no state legislature has made such statements, the stock nevertheless traded sharply down to over 14% lower after the news. Here’s a recap.
