Trade Rumors Set the Tone For the Market

The equities markets saw a bullish trend towards the end of today’s session after it was implied that the US and China might reach some tentative agreement on trade by the end of this year. However, shortly after this headline hit the newswires, a senior US trade official stated that such a deal was not likely to be reached by the time of the upcoming G20 meeting. We also saw a strong rise for UniQure NV (QURE) after the company reported a 100% positive response rate for patients in its trial of its hemophilia treatment AMT-061. Here’s a recap of what happened.
