Strength Evident In the Biotech Sector

The equities markets were quite erratic today, with the major indexes mostly trading in a narrow range. The healthcare sector ETF XLV was up about +1% for the session, and the biotech ETF IBB was up +1.39%, once again showing stronger recovery in biotech versus the overall healthcare sector. However, both ETFs traded in narrow ranges after gapping higher. Meanwhile, strong price movement was seen in EDGE, BIOS, and NVAX. Here’s a recap of today’s action.
